I am  40 years old , marriaged and I have 3 children. My place of residence is Schweich, a little town near Trier. I am working as a nurse in Luxembourg. I am a self-taught artist and restarted with painting in April 2020, after i read a newspaper article about the open Luxembourg Art Prize. 

At the beginning there was fear of the first stroke, but once started, it was like an inner thirst that had accumulated over years and could only be quenched by painting. The canvas is not a friend every day, but it fills me with deep satisfaction, when I have completed a work. Sometimes it is hard work, but mostly great fun and joy. The first step on a long trip. There was a recommendation to link my works of art published on instagram with the Luxembourg Art Price, which I followed and was soon discovered by an artscout of the Mini Gallery in London.
